It hurt so much when you let me go

I really didn’t know what to do

Because when this sort of thing happened I looked up at you.

I thought our friendship didn’t have a weakness

I thought we were superheroes too

I thought  our friendship was stronger than kryptonite

But here I’m looking back at you

Wishing I knew before that our friendship would be through

Because our friendship wasn’t stronger than kryptonite
